I got back into drumming in my mid-forties and started posting online as AverageDrummer because it felt honest.
But the more time I spent around musicians, creators and band culture again, the more I realised something was missing.
Most music merch felt disposable.

Above Average started as my answer to that.

Everything is made in limited runs and produced on demand to reduce waste and avoid overproduction.
