Taking care of your clothing properly helps it last longer, keeps it looking better, and reduces its overall environmental impact. These care instructions apply to items made from organic cotton and organic cotton blended with recycled polyester.
Washing
Wash at 30°C
Lower temperatures use less energy and are gentler on fibres.
Wash inside out
Protects prints, embroidery, and fabric surface.
Use a gentle or normal cycle
Avoid heavy or intensive cycles unless the garment is heavily soiled.
Wash with similar colours
Helps prevent colour transfer and fading.
Use mild detergent
Avoid harsh chemicals and bleach, which can damage fibres.
Drying
Do not tumble dry
Air drying helps maintain shape, reduces fibre stress, and saves energy.
Reshape while damp and hang or lay flat to dry
This helps the garment keep its original fit.
Ironing
Iron inside out on a low to medium heat
Especially important for printed or decorated areas.
Do not iron directly on prints or graphics
General Care Tips
Avoid excess fabric softeners — they can reduce breathability and fibre performance.
Spot clean small marks where possible instead of full washes.
Washing less frequently helps extend garment life and lowers environmental impact.
Why this matters
Organic cotton and recycled fibres are chosen to reduce reliance on virgin materials and lower overall impact — but how you care for them matters just as much. Following these steps helps your clothing stay wearable for longer, which is one of the most effective ways to be more sustainable.
End of life
When your garment has reached the end of its life, please check the product label or website for information on reuse, recycling, or return options where available. Any pure cotton product can be taken through my circular supply chain.
