The Story Behind EchoBridge
EchoBridge started in 2025 after a creative reset.
Adam and Lloyd had been part of their previous band since 2019, but shifting musical direction and lineup changes pushed them toward something new — heavier, more electronic, more fearless. What began as a studio two-piece quickly became a creative playground, with additional musicians joining them for live shows.
At its core, EchoBridge is about momentum. Letting go of what no longer fits, moving forward without overthinking it, and trusting the instinct to build something fresh rather than polishing something old.
Adam puts it simply:
“I honestly wouldn’t know what to do with myself if I stopped writing music.”
The band’s origin story isn’t exactly traditional.
Adam and Lloyd originally connected through horseboarding — yes, the extreme sport where you get pulled by a horse at terrifying speed. That slightly unhinged energy kind of explains the music too.
EchoBridge haven’t played their first official gig under the new name yet, but the turning point was clear: stepping away from the old project and committing fully to something that felt creatively honest and exciting again.
EchoBridge describes their music as a kind of accidental self-help manual — empowering lyrics for a world that’s feeling a little worn down.
Big hooks, electronic weight, emotional punch, and enough energy to shake a room when it finally lands live. The ambition is simple: play festivals, tour, let the project pay for itself, and keep feeding the studio with new ideas.
No overthinking. No ego. Just good music and a lot of fun.

🐎 The band originally bonded over horseboarding (seriously).
🎿 Annual ski trips: Lloyd snowboards, Adam skis.
🎤 Supported Space with their previous band, Kotonic
🎬 If EchoBridge were a film: Dumb and Dumber.
🎵 Song they wish they’d written: Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas (purely for the royalties).
🎓 Adam holds a BA (Hons) in Music — the theory brain behind the chaos.
🤝 There are only two of them now… which means no band arguments. Life upgrade.
🎤 Best ever gig was having the crowd sing back their songs at VicFest with their previous band.
🎄 Worst gig memory includes a bass player who didn’t learn the song - and he was singing one of them as well.
The Serious Bit (briefly)
Connection over ego.
Fun over posturing.
EchoBridge cares about community — even when that community involves long soundchecks, sticky floors, and the occasional questionable ego.
Their unofficial life rule: “Don’t be a prick.”
Success isn’t charts or vanity metrics — it’s making great music, enjoying the process, and building real connection with the people who show up.
EchoBridge x Above Average
This partnership started organically.
Lloyd already collaborates with Above Average through both the DRMMR and EQSTRN identities — before EchoBridge existed as a serious band project. That relationship made this collaboration a natural extension rather than a logo exercise.
Both brands care about doing things properly: quality materials, responsible production, and building something that lasts rather than chasing short-term noise. The merch is produced using organic cotton with recycled materials used intentionally to improve performance, and designed for real wear — rehearsals, shows, travel days, and everything in between.
It’s about backing creative people, keeping the ego out of it, and building meaningful partnerships that grow over time.
EchoBridge x Above Average isn’t merch for the sake of merch — it’s a shared mindset, worn daily.
No upfront cost to the band. Shared profit model. Creative control stays with EchoBridge
